Professor Peter Lindseth will speak at a conference called "Quale Europa per il futuro - The Democratic Disconnect, the Power-Legitimacy Nexus, and the Future of EU Governance" at the LUISS University in Rome, Italy on May 20, 2019. The event is part of a larger weekly lecture series.

Professor Peter Lindseth will be an invited speaker at the University of Rome Tor Vergata on May 18, 2019. The event features several experts speaking on the topic: "Understanding the EU Crisis. Legal, Political and Philosophical Interpretations"

Alexandra Lahav Selected as Radcliffe Fellow
May 14, 2019 -

Professor Alexandra Lahav has been named a fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. Lahav, the Ellen Ash Peters Professor of Law at UConn School of Law, will pursue a project entitled “Epidemiology and the Future of Tort Law.” Read more.

Peter Kochenburger Speaks in Boston

Professor Peter Kochenburger organized and moderated a presentation entitled "The Regulatory Response to Insurtech" at the 2019 Ratemaking, Product and Modeling (RPM) Seminar of the Casualty Actuarial Society in Boston on March 26, 2019. The seminar addressed such topics as as price optimization, use of Big Data in fraud detection or claim settlement amounts, and regulator treatment of complex pricing algorithms in rate filings.
