The Insurance Law Collection is the largest repository of insurance law materials at any academic institution in the U.S. Its print library and electronic databases support sophisticated faculty and student scholarship and attract researchers throughout the world. Housed in the Law School's handsome library building, the Collection is particularly known for its growing collection of international and historical materials. Working with librarians and archivists responsible for Hartford's many public and private insurance collections, the Insurance Law Center has identified and consolidated historically significant insurance materials for preservation and use. The Insurance Law Collection's web page also provides extensive links to insurance law and related areas on the Internet.
Our Director of Insurance Law Research, Ms. Yan Hong, was trained in Beijing and Salt Lake City and exemplifies the Insurance Law Center's commitment to a global perspective.
