Evaluating Litigation Risk in the 21st Century
April 27, 2018
This conference will bring together thought leaders in this field to consider new approaches to evaluating litigation risk. We will examine what are the most useful methods for assessing litigation risk and what limitations on our knowledge constrain our ability to evaluate and quantify litigation risk. We will consider how participants in the legal system might better evaluate the probability that one or more lawsuits will be filed, predict the likely number of suits, the magnitude of loss and expected costs, and “socio-legal” risk including the effect of changes in the law or politics that may affect litigation.
